That's right! I've lived in California for a year already!
I flew to California on May 15, 2013 and I have never regretted my decision. Wow....what all has happened? Well:
~I've lived in multiple locations in Los Angeles. West Hollywood, East Hollywood, downtown LA, and a few other places.
~I have had jobs where I worked as a telemarketer, canvasser, movie theater crew, and as a smoothie/retail guy. Such eclectic jobs, but they paid. It's no wonder I want a degree!
~I was able to celebrate my first Pride events. West Hollywood, San Francisco, and San Diego Prides were amazing and I will cherish my first Prides. Thank you, Hubby! Thank you for sharing them with me and teaching me the history of our LGBTQ Community.
~I GOT MARRIED!!! July 1, 2013 will always be special for me. It's the beginning of a wonderful life with a wonderful man.
~I've hosted Thanksgiving and Christmas with my in-laws and they felt like I had a real family experience.
I've learned and experienced a lot this year, but they have added more flavor to this pot of soup. Life will continue to add spice to me. I feel like I can say I am a part of LA, Hollywood, and California. I love it here!
But, there is an adventure waiting for us in Spain and I cannot wait to start the journey. We'll return someday, LA. Don't you worry!
Cheers, guys and gals.
